the hindu ceremony starts with huan leaving the ceremony area--just so he can make his entrace.  rekha's dad offers two coconuts to convince huan to reconsider the bachelor's life and marry his daughter.  rekha's uncle pulls rekha away from the groom, not wanting her given away.  huan's 'uncle' pulls him  away from the married life.  in the end, the wreaths are worn and the couple betrothed.  guests amble slowly into the paraiso maravilla.
